For a part that is not in the list. Give it a name and its pins. Choose what each pin does, so the part works when you press Run.

    • Sensor value: tap the part to move its slider. analogRead() gives that number.
    • Sensor on / off: click its switch on the part. digitalRead() gives HIGH or LOW.
    • Output: a light on the part turns on when the Arduino pin is HIGH.

    How to use

    1. Run a project. Pick one from All Simulations and press Run (Ctrl+Enter). β‹― More β†’ Reset and run again starts it from the beginning.
    2. Change the code. Edit the sketch on the right, then press Run. Text from Serial.print appears in the Serial Monitor below it. Press πŸ“ˆ Plotter to see the numbers as a live graph.
    3. Add parts. Press + on the canvas and pick a part. Drag parts to move them.
    4. Try a sensor. Drag the slider above a sensor to change what it measures: the temperature, the light, the distance, and so on.
    5. Connect wires. Drag from a pin or breadboard hole to another. Holes in the same column (a–e or f–j) are connected. β‹― More β†’ Auto Wire does it for you.
    6. Move around. Scroll to zoom, drag empty space to pan, and press 100% to reset the view.
    7. Undo mistakes. Ctrl+Z undoes and Ctrl+Y redoes. Delete removes the selected part.
    8. Check problems. If a pin has no wire, an LED has no resistor, or the code has an error, a message appears at the top when you press Run.
    9. Save your work. Work is saved in this browser automatically. Use File to save a copy, download it, or export an image.
